AWS generates a hostname for each of the VM deployed there. The hostname comes up with the private IP address as part of the name, for example, ip-10-0-0-176.ec2.internal.
No impact on the functionality.
This is by-design behavior of AWS: The hostname of the VM includes the private IP address as part of the name.
Although this is expected behavior from AWS, you can change the hostname using the following directions: 1. tmsh modify sys management-dhcp sys-mgmt-dhcp-config request-options delete { host-name } 2. tmsh save sys config 3. tmsh modify sys global-settings hostname abc1.ec2.internal 4. tmsh save sys config 5. reboot
