If a JavaScript function contains an Internet Explorer conditional compilation directive and a 'try ... catch' block inside this directive, it becomes inaccessible before declaration after re-writing.
JavaScript code stops the execution if forward reference to such function exists.

To work around the problem, if possible, move the function definition prior to all references to this function. Custom iRule can be used to implement it. No general iRule exists.
