Running pem_sessiondump --li to list all active PEM subscriber sessions prints the following output and exits immediately with no session data List all session (use with care) PEM session dump all[pemdb_session_bin] .... Error getting sessions!
- The pem_sessiondump --li and pem_sessiondump --summary command-line diagnostic tools are non-functional for listing active subscriber sessions. Operators cannot use this tool to enumerate or inspect session state for troubleshooting - There is no impact to the data path: subscriber sessions are created, provisioned, and terminated correctly. PEM policy enforcement, Gx/Radius integration, and all session statistics visible via tmsh show pem sessiondb all and tmsh show pem continue to operate normally
BIG-IP with the Policy Enforcement Manager (PEM) module requires at least one active PEM subscriber session, which can be created via a RADIUS Accounting-Request START using a Gx Diameter interface. The operator then executes pem_sessiondump --li from the system shell
Use tmsh show pem sessiondb all to view active subscriber session details, and tmsh show pem for aggregate statistics
