TCP connections through BIG-IP VE may fail to establish due to packets containing incorrect TCP checksums
TCP and UDP connections fail. Clients receive packets with invalid checksums and drop them
-- BIG-IP VE is configured to use the DPDK network driver with Intel SR-IOV virtual functions -- The system database variable tm.tcpudptxchecksum is set to Hardware-enabled (default)
Set the tm.tcpudptxchecksum database variable to software-only: tmsh modify sys db tm.tcpudptxchecksum value software-only Alternatively, use the default native driver instead of DPDK for Intel SR-IOV virtual functions`
The system now correctly computes TCP and UDP checksums when using the DPDK driver with Intel SR-IOV virtual functions
