When the "Webtop Redirect on Root URI" option is disabled on an Access Profile, accessing the root URI (e.g., https://apm-vs/) from a browser that has an existing validated webtop session results in a TCP connection reset (RST) with the message "No server selected," instead of re-initiating the session
Clients with active webtop sessions encounter an abrupt TCP RST (Reset) when attempting to navigate to the root URI. Since webtop sessions usually do not have a default pool configured, the request cannot be forwarded. As a result, the connection is terminated at the TCP layer instead of receiving an appropriate HTTP response. This leads to a poor user experience and unexpected session termination
This issue occurs when all of the following are true: - An Access Profile is configured with a webtop resource assigned (e.g., via Advanced Resource Assign) - The "Webtop Redirect on Root URI" option is disabled on the Access Profile - A client with an existing valid session accesses the root URI of the APM Virtual Server in a new tab or request
Enable the "Webtop Redirect on Root URI" option in the Access Profile. When this option is enabled, clients with an active Webtop session who access the root URI will be redirected to the Webtop UI.
