Very occasionally, after mprov runs after a reboot the BIG-IP may fail to start with logs similar to the following: bigip1 info mprov:7459:[7459]: 'admd failed to stop.' bigip1 err mprov:7459:[7459]: 'admd failed to stop, provisioning may fail.' bigip1 info mprov:7459:[7459]: 'avrd failed to stop.' bigip1 info mprov:7459:[7459]: 'avrd failed to stop.' ... bigip1 err mcpd[5584]: 01071392:3: Background command '/usr/bin/mprov.pl --quiet --commit asm avr host tmos ui ' failed. The command was signaled.
The BIG-IP is unable to finish booting.
Occurs rarely after a reboot.
Reboot the BIG-IP again.
