Description

Symptoms

When trying to create LTM policy with a rule through an iApp, an error occurs: 01070712:3: Values (/Common/Drafts/test_policy) specified for policy rule (/Common/Drafts/test_policy rule1): foreign key index (policy_FK) do not point at an item that exists in the database.

Impact

LTM policy with rule cannot be created through iApp template

Conditions

Creating an LTM policy with a rule using an iApp template in the GUI.

Workaround

Use tmsh to create an LTM policy with a rule: 1. For example, run a command similar to the following: #create ltm policy /Common/Drafts/tmsh_policy controls add { forwarding } requires add { http } strategy first-match rules add { rule1 {actions add { 0 {forward select pool p_test }} conditions add { 0 { http-host values { test1.com test2.com} } } }} 2. Publish the policy: #publish ltm policy /Common/Drafts/tmsh_policy
