Symptoms

The integrated ESRS feature cannot be enabled.Unisphere reports error 0x6400bb9.

Cause

The Site ID entered in Unisphere and the Site ID under which the Unity is installed do not match.

Resolution

When configuring the integrated ESRS, there is an option to confirm or change the Site ID.The wizard fails with the 0x6400bb9 error if the Site ID is incorrect.Use the correct Site ID where the Unity is installed.If the Unity is installed under the wrong Site ID, contact Dell Customer Administrative Support. Request them to move the Unity to the correct site (https://support.emc.com -> Service Center -> Live Chat -> Administrative Customer Support).
