SRDF/TimeFinder Manager Base for IBM i version is 10.3.0.x SnapVX snapshots are being successfully created on PowerMax from the IBMi AS400 server. The snapshot creation command includes SANPVXTTL(Days) TTL_DAYS(#) , however the snapshots then show expiration date NA instead of expiration in the requested number of days.
This is due to a code issue within the EMCCTL/CTLACT utility that triggers the snapshots. TTL_DAYS is not being properly set.
Dell Engineering is developing a fix to resolve this issue. Workaround: Customers can execute CTLACT SET_TTL after creating a snapshot to apply the desired TTL_DAYS.
