The primary and secondary Ethernet ports may experience the following issues when the network resumes from power-saving mode: Webpages are loading slowly. The file transfer is incomplete. The Internet connection is intermittent lost. Main Ethernet port: The Intel I219-LM Ethernet experiences connection delays when exiting low-power mode. Device Name: Intel(R) Ethernet Connection (18) I219-LM Second Ethernet port: The Realtek USB Ethernet adapter experiences Request timed out , or Destination host unreachable while in Idle Power-Saving mode . Device Name: Realtek USB GbE Family Controller Affected Platforms: Dell Pro Rugged 13 RA13250 Dell Pro Rugged 14 RB14250
Packet errors may occur due to clock misalignment causing intermittent connection lag.
Note : Do not create a work order for any hardware replacement for this issue. Main Ethernet port: Intel(R) Ethernet Connection (18) I219-LM Update Intel LAN driver to version 20.0.3.24 or newer. Second Ethernet port: Realtek USB GbE Family Controller. Update the firmware using the Realtek LAN RX Parameter Modification Tool v2.0.29 Download the One-Click Tool from the Dell Drivers Site and extract file . Launch PatchTool.exe and click Patch button . Click OK button. Click OK button.
