The Physical Adapter on the iDRAC Standard Switch is lost after the host upgrades the Platform Service VIB and reboots. The STIG assessment for 3.0.203 disables BMCNetworkEnable on ESXi.
Upload the latest version of the VxRail Toolbox to the VxRail Manager. (Found here: VxRail: User Guide for VxRail Troubleshooting ToolboxRun vxtoolv7 from the toolbox.Run option 1 to enable ssh service on all hosts. Run option 3 to run ESXi host commandsRun esxcfg-advcfg -s 1 /Net/BMCNetworkEnable Verify BMCNetworkEnable is a value of 1 by running esxcfg-advcfg -g /Net/BMCNetworkEnable If you are unable to use vxtool you can run these commands separately on each host: Check the configuration with esxcfg-advcfg -g /Net/BMCNetworkEnable Modify the configuration with esxcfg-advcfg -s 1 /Net/BMCNetworkEnable Verify the configuration with esxcfg-advcfg -g /Net/BMCNetworkEnable Once the above steps are completed, ensure the host is in Maintenance Mode and proceed with rebooting it.
