An error was reported when trying to add switches to NDFC: "Fabric Auto detection failed, Please make sure Controller is reachable and credentials are correct"
The user tried to add the switches directly from the Nexus Dashboard, which led to the failure.It was also observed that external IP pools were not added in the Nexus Dashboard and Fabric controller which also led to this issue.
Switches must be added from within the Fabric Controller interface, not directly from the Nexus Dashboard.
