The laptop does not respond and it messages nothing on-screen. However, it does give a repeating No POST error code using the laptops diagnostic LED. The Intel Management Engine (ME) firmware causes the Central Processor Unit (CPU) to stop responding. This happens when resuming from a low power state.
Note: You must have administrator rights on your laptop to make any operating system changes or update any firmware or software. Hold the power button down until the laptop turns off. Turn the laptop on and then update the BIOS to resolve this issue: Update the BIOS to Dell Pro 14 PC14250/16 PC16250 System BIOS , version 1.2.0 or later .
