During the claiming process, PowerPath sends a scsi inquiry to devices. The hba driver fails to handle the inquiry successfully.
Upgrade operating system to Esxi 6.7 or 6.7-U1 and HBA driver to qfle3f 1.0.52.0 or above . After these upgrades are completed, PowerPath/VE 6.4 is able to claim devices.
