After upgrading NetScaler VPX to version 13.1-57.x, 14.1-35.x, or later, VLAN bind operations on VPX might fail. This issue occurs with VPX instances created on legacy Single Bundle Image (SBI) versions such as 11.1 and earlier, 12.1-61.x and earlier, or 13.0-71.x and earlier. Workaround: We recommend that you perform the following steps before the upgrade: 1. In the SDX Management Service, navigate to Configuration > NetScaler Instance , and click Edit . 2. For each interface, add all configured VLANs to the "Allowed VLANs" list. If the list is empty, add a temporary VLAN to refresh the configuration. 3. If VLANs already exist in the list, add a temporary VLAN to refresh the configuration. 4. Save the configuration. 5. Upgrade your VPX. 6. Remove any temporary VLANs added during the process after upgrading. If you are encountering this issue after the upgrade: 1. Execute the preceding steps 1 to 4 in the SDX Management Service. 2. Choose one of the following: - Manually bind VLANs from the VPX CLI. - Reboot the VPX instance. Note: VPX instances created on newer SBI versions are not affected by this issue. Modules: 1.
