The current implementation of syslog in NX-OS does not follow RFC 5424. In the versions, NXOS 9.3(7a), 9.3(10), 9.3(13), 10.2(4), and 10.3(4a), the implementation of syslog does not follow RFC 5424. The timestamp of the syslog using RFC is not correct. It uses the system clock's magnitude and Z without considering the offset. For example, if the system clock is 15:32:32.520 CET. The Syslog will contain "15:32:10.42Z", interpreted as 15:32:10.42 UTC.
