Symptom

EWC AP crashed and would constantly cause active failover if there are more than one elegible active EWC AP on the system Log similar to next would be noticed at the moment of AP reload %PMAN-3-RELOAD_SYSTEM: Chassis 1 R0/0: pvp: Reloading: Peer chassis is not standby ready. System will be reloaded %STACKMGR-1-RELOAD: Chassis 1 R0/0: stack_mgr: Reloading due to reason Critical process crash (ERR): Error initializing MQIPC reader (target-id: 15) - not ipc_birth %PARSER-4-BADCFG: Unexpected end of configuration file.

Conditions

Noticed on 9x CATALYST AP running EWC with at least one eligible STANDBY EWC AP

Workaround

At this moment, there is no workaround.
