After doing an upgrade to 8.4.6a or 8.4.7 from an older release, one or both supervisors may report Diagnostic Failure. Specifically, the test "ExternalCompactFlash" will show DIAG TEST ERR DISABLE and the failure reason "The logflash was found to be absent" Reloading, reseating, or switching over the supervisor does not resolve the issue.
Upgrade to 8.4.6a or newer code on N77K-SUP2E and observe the diagnostic failure.
