Symptom

ISE rest API SDK (ISE built in documentation) states that for Endpoint Identity Group creation you must include the field "systemDefined" as TRUE. if you do this, the group cannot be deleted using the GUI.

Conditions

The endpoint groups should be created using script provided in API documentation. XML parentId true JSON { "EndPointGroup": { "name": "name", "description": "description", "systemDefined": true, "parentId": "parentId" } }

Workaround

No workaround from GUI or CLI. We could delete the objects using root only.
