syslogs are generated with CRC errors after the periodic device test runs even though only stompped CRC are really incrementing.

switch loaded with 10.3(3)F When the LC or FM receives stompped CRCs, we see that the above mentioned syslogs are generated. this syslog on stompped CRC is a false alarm for someone to investigate on this switch, but one should look at the source of the error connected to this interface.
there are no workarounds for this
Without this fix: check for CRC and Stomped CRC. Syslog if either of them increments. With Fix: we check only for CRC. Hence syslog will not happen for the stomped CRC errors. Also, this is only for Cloudscale devices. Please read the below on CRC vs Stomped CRC. https://community.cisco.com/t5/data-center-switches/what-is-crc-stomped-amp-crc-not-stomped/td-p/4121237 Frequency of logging: At the beginning, it will be reported only after 6 mins from the first device test runs. Subsequent sys logging happens only if the time difference between the previous syslog time is more than 5min.
