Cat9200/Cat9200L non PoE variant switch (24T/48T) do not boot up after powercycle of device. Device gets in continuous boot loop. Bootup logs during Install boot : Initializing Hardware... Issue is observed when all the below mentioned conditions are met 1) When Cat9200/ Cat9200L non PoE Switch (Standalone or part of stack) having single 125WAC power supply in slot A with serial number starting with ARTxxxxxxxx. 2) Device is booted with IOS 17.9.3 or 17.3.7 as part of Power failure or Powercycle is done for switch
1) Boot device with IOS image not affected with this issues. For example 17.6.5 or 17.9.4 2) Move 125WAC ARTxxxxxxxx power supply present in slot A to Slot B
1. Cat9200/Cat9200L non PoE variant switch (24T/48T) device gets stuck in continuous boot loop after power failure. 2. Issue is not seen if device is booted with affected version as part of software reboot/reset. 3. issue is not seen if a powersupply populated in slot B
