Symptom
When ISE is configured with multiple domains and multiple agents. ISE probes all agents for the status of all domains even if the agent isn't configured to monitor the domain. This results in the following log messages in passiveid-agent.log:
2023-02-21 11:13:22,525 ERROR [Grizzly-worker(21)][] com.cisco.idc.agent-probe- failed to update status for DC Couldn't find DC
2023-02-21 11:13:22,525 ERROR [Grizzly-worker(21)][] com.cisco.idc.agent-probe- failed to update status for DC Couldn't find DC
2023-02-21 11:14:22,656 ERROR [Grizzly-worker(12)][] com.cisco.idc.agent-probe- failed to update status for DC Couldn't find DC
2023-02-21 11:14:22,657 ERROR [Grizzly-worker(12)][] com.cisco.idc.agent-probe- failed to update status for DC Couldn't find DC
These logs are purely cosmetic as the configured Agents are monitoring their domain as expected.
Conditions
ISE is configured with multiple domains and multiple agents deployed to monitor each unique domain.
Workaround
No work around required. The error logs are cosmetic and ISE Passive-ID is working as indicated by live session data.
