SPAN Tx traffic could not be mirrored when preferred SDM Template is set as NAT
Issue only happens in the particular PID: C9500-40X(Adelphi). Other PIDs like C9500-32QC, C9300-48UXM, all work fine. Checked on versions: 17.9.1 and 17.3.5, behaviors are same, doesn't look like a version related. Steps to reproduce: 1. Set the SDM template to NAT (config)#sdm prefer nat (config)#end #wr #reload ##show sdm prefer Showing SDM Template Info This is the NAT template. <<<<<<<<<< 2. Create a SPAN session monitor session source interface tx monitor session destination interface 3. Put any tx & rx packets to the source interface, e.g. ICMP ping test likes ping x.x.x.x repeat 1000 4. Verify the amounts of packets clear counters show int counters You will see 1000 packets in each of the InUcastPkts and OutUcastPkts. show int counters Expected behavior should be 1000 amounts of OutUcastPkts should be counted. Actual behavior is appearing 0 for OutUcastPkts.
