Symptom

High CPU utilization and PTP mgmt packet loop when enabling ptp over vpc peer-link with parallel links.

Conditions

- Nexus 7000 with vpc - enable ptp over vpc peer-link - vpc peer-link deployed with multiple link - only GM with profile SMPTE can observe similar behavior as it came with mgmt packet option by default, AES should have mgmt option disabled.

Workaround

Disable PTP on the peer-link or don't enable ptp on multiple link inside the same port-channel. Customers can also use AES profile instead of using SMPTE, which will prevent the GM to advertise ptp mgmt packet.
