When QFP resource threshold is exceeded, a syslog message can be generated by IOS-XE system. For example, Jan 30 15:46:29.990 EDT: %IOSXE_QFP-2-LOAD_EXCEED: Slot: 1, QFP:0, Load 95% exceeds the setting threshold 80%. 5 secs traffic rate on QFP: Total Input: 32470339 pps (32470.3 kpps), 89090062336 bps (89090.1 mbps), Total Output: 16751148 pps (16751.1 kpps), 63674291136 bps (63674.3 mbps). However, the snmp trap is not generated for the same to notify network management tool.
When QFP load threshold is crossed (exceeded).
Use SNMP polling to proactively monitor the system CPU/memory utilization.
Customer need this SNMP capability to detect any QFP load exceed condition via SNMP trap.
