Symptom

vSmart ignores origin protocol metric and keep advertising both routes to a destination WAN Edge

Conditions

2 different routers from the same or different sites advertise the same prefix, same origin protol, but different origin metric (e.g. set with help of route-map on source WAN Edges): route-map TEST permit 10 set metric 20 ! sdwan omp address-family ipv4 vrf 3 advertise static route-map TEST ! ! !

Workaround

configure outbound filtering policy to remove unnecessary advertisements with higher origin metric
