On the C8300 series, the output of "show platform hardware throughput crypto" is ambiguous. It's not clear if the crypto throughput is limited to the configured value or not. C8300#sh platform hardware throughput crypto Current configured crypto throughput level: 2.5G Level is saved, reboot is not required Current enforced crypto throughput level: 2.5G <-- enforced? Crypto Throughput is not throttled <-- or not limited?

In addition, "sh version" displays the following information regarding IPSEC/crypto throughput: The current crypto throughput level is 5000000 kbps (Aggregate) It's not exactly wrong, as a 2.5G license is in use, however it's misleading as customers may understand 5G is the maximum throughput for crypto traffic.
