Symptom

Failover status on standby unit is 'disabled' because of error 'Other unit has different set of hwidb index'. 1.Standby unit goes into disabled state. 2.Attempts to re-sync using 'configure high-availability resume' fails, the failure reason is "Other unit has different set of hwidb index" as seen in 'show failover history' 3.The below set of logs are continuously printed on ASAConsole.log "Number of interfaces on Active and Standby are not consistent"

Conditions

FPR1K configured with HA. Interface configuration is deleted after the failover is disabled on (secondary unit) Resuming HA, the secondary device goes into failed state.

Workaround

disable and re-enable failover
