Hardware:9500-48Y4C Software: 17.3.4 --Link debounce timer on cat9500 running 17.3.4 is taking longer than expected to detect and recover from a link fault. Topology: Tester---------[RTP Cat9500-48Y4C] Hu1/0/52 ------[100GE optical protected circuit]----------Hu1/0/52 [Omaha Cat9500-48Y4C]-----Tester *Optical circuit switch takes ~10msec to switchover from one protected path to another *Hu1/0/52 of Cat9500-48Y4C (on both ends) configured with debounce timer =1200 msec / no carrier delay --In topology above we see that the cat-9500 switch (debounce timer of 1200msec configured) takes approx ~1050msec to detect and recover from the link fault introduced by a switchover in the optical circuit. --This ~1050msec taken by the cat9500 is longer than expected since by comparison, a Nexus 9k (with same debounce timer of 1200 msec) in the same circuit detects & recovers from the link fault in ~130msec
