continuous heap memory increase was observed when running the commands for the isis process show memory heap jid 1009
memory leak observed in isis when using "default-information originate route-policy" For example configurations such as below - route-policy RP_SET_LOOP_TAG_DEFAULT($tag, $metric) if rib-has-route in (0.0.0.0/0) then set tag $tag set isis-metric $metric set level level-2 else drop endif end-policy router isis default-information originate route-policy RP_SET_LOOP_TAG_DEFAULT(9999, 200) As rib-has-route statement continuously runs the policy every 10 seconds the memory leak will be noticeable, otherwise for other statements the memory leak will happen once and might not be noticeable. Similarly, a BGP config is also impacted by this leak - route-policy MYSID if destination in pfx then pass endif end-policy ! bgp router-id address-family ipv4 unicast permanent-network route-policy MYSID ! But in the case of BGP config, the leak will be minor since the policy will be run only when policy is updated.
none
Having only the configuration as indicated in the conditions section also causes a leak.
