Remote backup fails, permission denied message in backup.log for monetdb backup.
Remote backup to an NFS remote storage location.
Use a more permissive set of nfs export parameters on the nfs server. On the windows server-side go to NFS Advanced Sharing and edit NFS share Permissions, then enable "Allow root access" apply the changes, and generate the backup again.
some common NFS export parameters (root_squash, probably) can make the eventdb hot backup fail due to file system permission issues.
