Symptom

The Cisco DNA Center learns the correct device/port configuration on resync as seen under inventory. However, we still see the old interface config details in the database. Due to this LAN automation instantly fails with "NCND01127: Please change the discovery interface configuration to either Default or L2 mode and then re-sync the primary device from Inventory App" error.

Conditions

The issue was first observed with Cat9500 running IOS-XE 17.3.4 where the configuration received by DNA Center from the device via netconf during re-sync was not current.

Workaround

Toggle netconf-yang on problematic switch. (config)# no netconf-yang (config)# netconf-yang Once netconf-yang is reinitialized, any new changes in interface configuration will be synchronized with netconf.
