The following error is received if a user attempts to start an upgrade on a 7.1 FMC without running a Readiness Check on the FMC or the device to be upgraded first: --------------- Error Cannot start upgrade. One or more devices have failed or never run readiness checks. Run checks again or select only valid devices. --------------- Since the readiness check is now a requirement, the message should be modified to state the readiness check is required. Something like the following would be more specific and helpful for the user: --------------- A Readiness Check must be run on this prior to upgrading. If you have already run a Readiness Check on this and the Readiness Check failed, do . ---------------
Steps to Reproduce: 1. Baseline an FMC to 7.1.0-90 2. Attempt to upgrade the FMC to 7.1.0.1 without running a Readiness Check first Expected Results: A message will be received stating a Readiness Check must be run first. Actual Results: A message is received which can be confusing to the user.
Install update or patch via CLI with FORCE flag Example: install_update.pl /var/sf/updates/Cisco_Firepower_Mgmt_Center_Patch-7.1.0.1-28.sh.REL.tar FORCE
