Symptom

Image upgrade failed due to SIA Status: Node is in deactivated state.

Conditions

Any of the following seen in "show license platform summary": "SIA Status: Node is in deactivated state" "Upgrade License Status: Node is in deactivated state" "Device Status: Perpetual without SIA Renewal" Even if the router is REGISTERED or some SIA licenses are reserved as per the "show license summary" CLI

Workaround

1.Move to node deactivation (disconnected) by reserving 0 SIA licenses and wait for more than an hour. 2.Move it back to registration (connected) state and wait for more than one hour.
