show version should display additional information about the transport type, trust establishment, last ACK received, and next ACK deadline for Smart Licensing Using Policy to assist with identifying and diagnosing licensing issues as early as possible.

No workaround is needed as this defect is meant to track enhancements to the 'show version' output with respect to Smart Licensing Using Policy.
Defect CSCvy39207 addresses the ambiguity caused by the "Smart Licensing Status: Registration Not Applicable/Not Applicable" output in 'show version' on affected SLP versions of code as customers may think that licensing is "Not Applicable" because of it when, in fact, the device does need to be licensed. That defect should update the output to simply reflect "Smart Licensing Using Policy". During the discussions with Development about CSCvy39207, TAC proposed including the following outputs in 'show version' which would help customers and TAC quickly identify the transport type, status of trust establish, last ACK received timestamp, and when the next ACK is due: !
