Potential intermittent failure after boot where no traffic can be observed between chassis host CPU and Service Module CPU on the Catalyst 8300. Ping through the ucse1/0/1 interface doesn't go through. "%IOSXE-3-PLATFORM: R0/0: kernel: Detected Tx Unit Hang Tx Queue" messages can be observed in the system log (show logging).
Service Module installed in C8300-1N1S-6T with routing between the chassis host CPU and the Service Module CPU.
There is no workaround at this time.
This issue has only been observed after boot, if the system has booted and traffic has been observed between the chassis CPU and the SM CPU, then this issue has not been observed post this phase.
