Symptom
observed on 9800 WLC 17.3.2
Running trace archive command throws error:
WLC#request platform software trace archive
% Error: A trace archive command is already in progress. Exiting...
Conditions
observed on 9800-40 running 17.3.2
probably affects other versions and platforms
Workaround
Enter devshell (requires TAC on call)
request consent-token generate-challenge shell-access auth-timeout 30
request consent-token accept-response shell-access
request platform software system shell
In devshel, run:
rm /tmp/mtr_cntrl
Further Problem Description
Similar issue observed on 9300 switches and fixed using another bugid.
