Symptom

Customer is trying to add an additional RT to especific prefixes using "set extcommunity rt xxx:xxxx additive" however, RT is not added until the BGP session is soft cleared.

Conditions

When customer tries to add an additional RT to the existing prefixes, the RT is not taking place unless the bgp session is bounced.

Workaround

clear ip bgp x.x.x.x vrf name soft
