Symptom

Authentication towards REST ID store fails with a non-meaningful error like: 12976 EAP-TTLS authentication failed (In case of EAP-TTLS) At the same time logs are clearly showing that ISE is unable to select Identity Store: can't find ConfigIdentitySequence object,IDStores.cpp:89

Conditions

ISE 3.0 configured with REST ID store. This issues may be seen after restart of services on the ISE node

Workaround

Create new ID store sequence with the same REST ID store and assign it to the authentication policy
