unable to copy files from n9k bootflash; below error message will be seen n9k1# copy bootflash:capture_00001_20200522212705.pcap ftp: Enter vrf (If no input, current vrf 'default' is considered): management Enter hostname for the ftp server: 172.18.108.26 Enter username: calo Password: local: /bootflash/capture_00001_20200522212705.pcap: Permission denied

Conditions

nexus 9000 running 9.x version of code and the files are originated using ethanalyzer which is run in rolling buffer mode using the command->ethanalyzer local interface inband limit-c 0 capture-ring-buffer filesize 10000 write bootflash:capture.pcap

Workaround

drop to bash and change the permission for the respective file
