Symptom

Interface flapping on 8000 series devices due to unhandled resource temporarily unavailable issue. The following messages are displayed in /var/log/messages: bb-health:bb-health [ERROR] Error retrieving PLPT_EGRESS_QUEUE_DROP stats: Resource temporarily unavailable (0xffffffff)

Conditions

- It could occur randomly when the device checks interface counters. - This can happen on Series 3 devices only.

Workaround

There is no workaround available. Please upgrade SW to fixed version.
