From Polaris 16.1 onwards, DNS stack is migrated to Open Source DNS. The CLI command ?ip domain timeout? is obsolete.
If Polaris 16.1 onwards deployed, user tried to configure the domain timeout value using the command ?ip domain timeout?, the command output throws the error "Warning: This DNS CLI is no more supported, Please refer to config guide for more information "
There is no workaround as this is expected behavior in Polaris 16.1 release onwards.
This is NOT a problem. It is expected behavior of the mentioned CLI. It is no longer needed, as timeout is derived dynamically based on RTT per server.
