Description

Symptom

Interface id option (18) is not fill correctly in Relay fwd solicit message going from proxy (asr9k) to dhcpv6 server for ppppoe+dhcpv6

Conditions

pppoe+dhcpv6 configuration with base profile, radius send the profile as proxy and interface-id insert pppoe is configured under proxy profile. profile myproxy proxy relay option interface-id insert pppoe helper-address vrf default 2::2 helper-address vrf default 2::3 ! interface subscriber-pppoe profile mybase

Workaround

in stead of base profile configure directly the proxy profile on dhcpv6 interface

Further Problem Description

This is feature added in 6.2.x, so this fix is not required in older releases
