On Nexus 9000 Modular Chassis, under extremely difficult circumstances, at times when BGP with BFD enabled , may cause traffic loss with specific configuration.
This is applicable to Modular Chassis only. The problem is that when a BFD is hosted on a different Line card and the ingress BFD packets coming from a different LC doesn't have a policier applied. Hence BFD echo packets may theoritically cause congestion in control plane because they are prioritized.
None. The Problem is addressed in NXOS 7.0(3)I7(1) and above, where Policer is applied to BFD Packets on a Modular Chassis.
