* Continuous endpoint movement between local leaf and remote leaf contributes to the defect * Defect has been observed on leaves with over 100 days in system uptime, shorter/longer depending on the frequency of endpoint moves
* Diagnose whether there are continuous endpoint movement (e.g. same IP flapping between two MACs) * On the leaf, in the /var/log/dme/log/epmc-trace.log search for lines such as: * A.A.A.A moved from MAC aaaa.aaaa.aaaa.aaaa to MAC bbbb.bbbb.bbbb.bbbb * A.A.A.A moved from MAC bbbb.bbbb.bbbb.bbbb to MAC aaaa.aaaa.aaaa.aaaa
