this issue is reproduced with the following steps. Step1:insert GLC-SX-MMD into C3850 downlink Step2:shut down Step3:remove GLC-SX-MMD from interface Step4:insert it again after some time Step5:no shut down
For avoiding this issue occur on a not connected status port (the SFP is not inserted) please refer Workaround 1 Workaround 1: ---------------------------- Step1:shut down interface Step2:insert SFP Step3:shut down port again Step4:remove and reinsert SFP again Step5:no shut down port For avoiding this issue occur on a UP/UP status interface (SFP is inserted and recognized already) please refer Workaround 2 Workaround 2: ---------------------------- Step1:shut down interface Step2:remove SFP Step3:no shut Step4:insert SFP
