Upon AED failover, remote HSRP address may not be reachable over OTV cloud although vMAC address learnt and programmed in MAC address table
This issue can happen in case of *** OTV built on F3 line cards *** FHRP localisation is not in use *** vMAC (HSRP) learnt over OTV cloud *** OTV failover/failback took place Problem can be detected in following way: 1/ entry is in MAC table: # show mac address-table vlanX KDC-OTV-2# sh mac add vl 45 Note: MAC table entries displayed are getting read from software. In order to work around this problem, MAC address table should be cleared: * clear mac address-table dynamic address 0000.0c07.acXX vlan X or * clear mac address-table dynamic vlan X
