Symptom

Cu has setup where VPC port-channel (with __8__ member interfaces) is configured towards ASR9K cluster. Links towards one ASR are in hot-stabdby mode and __3000__ vlans are configured on that port-channel. When active part of a port-channel goes down it takes around 14-17 seconds to bring online hot-standby links.

Conditions

Portchannel with 8 members 4 from which are in hot-standby. 3000 vlans allowed on port-channel.

Workaround

If port-channel is reduced to 4 links - no issue is observed. If allowed vlans are reduced to less value - delay will be smaller.
