Topology: Dialer -- SIP -- SIP-GW -- PRI (PSTN) Dialer -- SIP -- SIP-GW (DP 5001 pref 1) -- SIP -- CUCM (SUB1) Dialer -- SIP -- SIP-GW(DP 5000 pref 2) -- SIP -- CUCM (SUB2) Problem Description: Both dial peers 5000 and 5001 are configured with SIP Options PING. The issue is when SUB2 is down then SIP-GW marks dial peer 5000 as "busyout" but still SIP-GW sends the call (once REFER is received from Dialer) to SUB2 even though the matched dial peer is 5001 (for SUB1). IOS version: c3900e-universalk9-mz.SPA.153-3.M4.bin
Call Flow: + Dialer calls a PSTN number via SIP-GW. + PSTN user answers the call. Now Dialer sends a SIP REFER to CUBE with Refer To as "XXXXX". SIP-GW matches an outgoing dial peer and sends the call to CUCM. There are two separate dial peers configured to send outgoing Invite to CUCM. Dial peer 5000 sends call to SUB2 which has preference 2 whereas dial peer 5001 is configured to send call to SUB1 with preference 1.
Configuring the command under "SIP-UA" "xfer target dial-peer" or configure dial-peer tag '5000' as preference 1 and change session-target to primary and dial-peer tag '5001' as subscriber
