ASR1k router constantly reloads in B2B HA setup. The following message is observed in the console logs that triggers the reload: % [RG 1]: VOICE B2B HA-enabled RG INTF going down due to link loss - reloading router now R0/0: %PMAN-5-EXITACTION: Process manager is exiting: process exit with reload chassis code
For ASR1001-x,when fixed ports are used as Redundancy Interface. For all other ASR1k routers,when last two ports of a Removable SPA are used as Redundancy Interface.
Use first two interfaces of Removable SPA as the Redundancy Interface. -or- Configure the following under the interfaces interface Gig 0/0/0 carrier-delay => The time will depend on the amount of seconds it takes for the interfaces to come up after reloading the Router. Example:
carrier-delay 5 command should be applied to the physical interface that you use for redundancy group in the config. in below example, you would apply "carrier-delay 5" to gi0/0/2 interface. redundancy mode none application redundancy group 1 name b2bha-voice priority 100 failover threshold 75 timers delay 30 reload 60 control GigabitEthernet0/0/2 protocol 1 data GigabitEthernet0/0/2 track 1 shutdown bfd-template single-hop CCA
